Treatments
The following is a typical application program for turf grass area.
SPRING: Early to Mid May. Crabgrass control and balanced granular fertilizer with 20 - 30% slow release nitrogen.
EARLY SUMMER: Mid to late June. Balanced granular fertilizer with 20 - 30% slow release nitrogen with 2% iron supplement for a dark green look.
MID SUMMER: Mid to late July. Balanced granular fertilizer with 20 - 30% slow release nitrogen with 2% iron supplement for a dark green look.
LATE SUMMER -EARLY FALL: September through October. High potassium level to promote strong vigorous root growth with 20 - 30% slow released nitrogen. This is typically applied shortly after aeration.
